[citation][nom]Computer_Lots[/nom]So, oORaidROo, there are a few things we need to clear up...Racist and Right-Wing are not necessarily the same thing. There are many racist Democrats. I am a conservative-minded individual (right-wing to some people) but an definitely not a racist.Joe Wilson is also not a racist just because he called Obama a liar. I guess your memory is a little short. I remember much hate speech against pres Bush calling him a liar. You know "Bush lied, people died". It's not an impossibility for a politician to lie from time to time. Actually, they're probably lying more than they're telling the truth, Dems and Repubs alike. As for the Obama, Hitler pics... they certainly not racist since Hitler was white but are more political suggesting that Obama is a dictator. The questions about Obama's birth are legitimate. If he wasn't in fact born in the U.S then he's not eligible to be President. He still hasn't proven his birthplace by the way. Now, as for the picture... I think it's stupid and not really even funny. However, not really worth a bunch of controversy in my opinion.[/citation]

Step out of the dark-ages sir. This is a settled issue to most sane people I would think by now.

Here is an opinion that differs from yours: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=105347

But I do agree with you that we should move past this issue. If it was important to enough people, he wouldn't have been elected. So we'll move off of that issue and focus on the global warming hallucinations instead. "Never underestimate the power of an overwhelming number of idiots, especially if they are led by Al Gore." -Me

[citation][nom]Computer_Lots[/nom]OK. I'm not insane, just uninformed Oh, and please don't use Wikipedia as a source of proof in the future.[/citation]
What about CNN?

[citation][nom]o0RaidR0o[/nom]I don't even know how to reply to such a disgusting image of our first lady! Our first black President and family, and the racist right-wing America has shown there ass, yeah I said it! I know it didn't start with Joe Wilson but a perfect example of taking such offensive liberty as to openly and loudly call the President a liar. I don't think any such thing was ever targeted to a white president, and yet here we are. Then there were the paid demonstrators at the anti public option town halls holding posters of President Obama depicted as Hitler, WTF! Or those that tried to deride President Obama as being a Muslim, (not that there isn't anything wrong with that) but considering that this country believes everything their told you can see how this could be damaging. Oh and how about the ones questioning President Obama's birth right as an American. There is more but I think I made my point. It's got to stop and it is during these times as an American I hold my head low![/citation]
Another short-minded individual. I remember a person calling Bush a friggen "Nazi" and nothing ever came of it...but Obama gets called a liar and all hell breaks loose? I didn't care for Bush but this BS double-standard crap is a f'n joke...

Every president gets criticized...grow up!

I don't see any reason not to use wiki as "a" source amongst others. It was not my only source nor do any of those links reflect my "opinion" as Platypus would like to assume. I did not write or contribute to any of them. I do not believe everything I read, nor should you.

It is well known that 99% of Wikipedia pages themselves contain numerous sources for the information posted on it; therefore, by referencing a Wikipedia page, you are usually, in fact, making multiple references...

@ Computer_Lots:

"He still hasn't proven his birthplace by the way"

Are you really that ignorant, or are you just hamming it up for the crowd?

i don't have any sympathy for anyone who is more wealthy than me. if someone wants to photoshop a politician, let them. people've been graffiting since rome and then some.

Well, I thnk this is disgusting. Surely there must be some way to ban the internets from anyone who posts anything that anyone else might possibly find offensive?

In my opinion anyone who doesn't like President Obama and his wife is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

here you collection of jackasses. There is the literal copy of his birth certificate online. Why don't you go harass the doctor to no end. And playing dumb about old racist insinuations that black people are more closely related to apes makes you look ridiculous. The transpositioning of the images if it were say, Dubya, do not imply the same thing.

I personally think the President was born in this country. But there are inconsistencies in the evidence. I have seen other Certifications of Live births from Hawaii in 1963(my first link), and they look nothing like the Presidents. Why is this? Oh, you say this is just the "short form", but then why does the Presidents copy not have a seal, date stamp or signature like a proper "short form" birth certificate should have(second link)?

[citation][nom]christop[/nom]That pic is a low blow.. Maybe 3 more gens and this kind of crap will end..[/citation]100 more gens isn't going to do a damn thing if everyone keeps throwing around the word "racist" every time someone does something to a non-white person that wouldn't cause anyone to flinch if it were directed at a white person. The term racist gets over played...

Why is it OK to call other presidents liars and make odd caricatures of them, but not of the Obamas? As it's been said, that's what we modern people call Double Standards...and unfortunately, it's also what breeds more of what is actual racism. I've always believed everyone should be treated equal, regardless. ...but apparently equality only counts when non-whites don't get their butts hurt in the process...

I agree the picture was a tad tasteless, and I don't find humor in it, but neither did I find humor in it when other presidents were succumb to the same thing. But you don't see me crying about it. It's a picture...on the "interweb"! ...there's worse out there, get over it.
