Question Googleplay on Huawei nova 7 SE 5G

Is it possible to set up the google playstore? I have downloaded it from aptoid, but it won't open. I've heard rooting the phone is an option.

Anyone know?

There is no authorized way to do this as a result of US policy regarding Huawei products at this time.
