My reasons for upgrading from my Pixel 8 Pro to the 9 Pro were pretty simple.

1. The smaller size that still includes the pro features
2. The $699 trade in for my 8 Pro (Apple and Samsung offered something in the $400-500 range)
3. The MUCH longer battery life
