Android has had voice control for a long time...Long before Apple & Siri. Everyone I've talked to about Siri say it's just a novelty toy and quickly forgotten. I've used Android voice heavily for a long time and it's fantastic. Why all the talk about Android catching up with Siri?

I've been using Android good voice recognition software on my phones well before Siri. While the A.I. "talking" back to you is cute, I don't my phone to talk back to me. I just need her to do what I tell her. Funny how my phone became a 'she' at this point....

They say Q4 release but it takes another 6 months to a year for any phone other than Google's latest release to see an update to the new OS. So if this is going to be a Jelly Bean release we are looking at no earlier than Q2 of 2013 with it actually showing up on more than 1 phone. What a joke of a wait!
