Solved! Got no ringtone on my phone

When I ring someone I am not getting any ring tone on my android phone

OK are you calling someone else, or are they calling you? As a ringtone would be on your own phone for a call coming to you. Now if you call someone and do not hear any ringing in the phone when trying to call out, that is a totally different thing. Please clarify which it is.
