Yeah so I recently bought a laptop whit an gt840m, i7-4510U and 8 gb of ram.

But the problem is that my laptop always use the chipset. It detect the graphic card, but dosent use it. I try to disable the chipset but it dosent work too. I tryed to change some setting in the Nvidia Panel like putting my gt840m in default but it still dont want to use it. So I still get 20 fps on game like battlefield 2.

Thanks in advance for yours answers :)

Solution
In Nvidia control panel, select the game or application (or browse for it's executable) first, then choose the preferred GPU.

Repeat that for each game you install.
