Can NVIDIA GT340M is capable of playing GTA V?

Nope.

Let me put it this way: it will just barely run GTA IV, even on the lowest settings and resolutions. So no, it will almost certainly not be able to handle GTA V.

Note: those assumptions are made using the GT 330M as a reference. I wasn't aware that Nvidia put out a 340M (that's an old ATI card according to searches).
