short question: which is better?
long questions: i saw this youtube vid from this guy who OC'd his 570M and got some pretty amazing performance with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTLJlAZWoJ0
is it even legit? assuming it is, these are the 2 laptops i'm thinking about right now:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231001

i'm looking for a laptop that could run BF4 at least on high at 30+ FPS & at 720p+.
soo... which one should i chose? also does the i5 dual core affects performance noticeably?
pls reply, and thanks!! :)

Solution
The GTX 570M is faster but the GTX 660M should run cooler because of the new manufacturing process. (40nm vs 28nm)
The GTX 660M have 3D Vision, 3DTV Play, CUDA, DirectX 11, PhysX, SLI, TXAA, FXAA, Adaptive VSync
While the GTX 570M have 3D Vision, CUDA, DirectX 11, PhysX, SLI, Optimus
You get newer technology with the GTX 660M.
The dual core i5 is good for gaming but if you could get an i7 it would be even better.

According to notebookcheck the GTX 570M is slightly faster than the GTX 660M.

thanks. but what about the video i put here? i have never seen a 660m perform like that. and even though the card is OC'd, i think i will OC if i could get this kind of performance. basically i want to compare the card in the video to the 660m.

I wouldn't recommend over clocking your laptop GPU since it will shorten the lifespan of the notebook itself.
The one with the GTX 660M comes with 1366x768 which in return will get you higher frame rate and you will be able to crank up the game details settings to high on ultra.
Meanwhile the GTX 570M comes with 1080P screen which will give you more detail on the screen and when you are outside of gaming surfing the web or doing office work the 1080P screen will be much convenient to use as there is more horizontal and vertical space available for you.

thanks, you gave me thought materiel. what about the y400? i wanted to know where i could find a gt 750m ultra bay. the y400 comes with gt 750m stock, but i thought i would add another via the ultrabay and get that performance boost. anywhere i could find one? i couldn't see 'em on lenovo's site and i don't know what to look for on ebay since "gt 750m ultrabay" doesn't get me any results. thanks :)

i don't really love the Y500. even in it's SLI configuration (unless 750m sli, which in that case FUCK YES). what about msi's GE40? i heard it packs some serious punch under it's tiny hood, though it overheats.

GE40 has a crappy screen again.

570m and 660m are about the same in power, 670m is a little more powerful.
