Hi,
If it's a new laptop see if the fan that cools the GPU is working properly first because if it's not I would suggest taking it back to the store where you purchased it from because it's not normal for a new laptop to overheat. Do also try to do a clean install of the driver of your graphics card first.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the NVIDIA graphics driver.
- Open Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to NVIDIA.
- Download and install the latest driver from it's support site.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
- After the reboot make sure to set all your games back to user the NVIDIA processor.
If all these will not work I would suggest taking it back to the store you bought it from first so they can verify themselves about that issue your experiencing.
