Brand new OMEN by HP gaming laptop running cpu too hot after 1 day

Hi all,

I just bought a new gaming laptop
OMEN by HP 15.6 "144Hz Full HD Matt
G-SYNC, GeForce GTX1060 6GB, Core i7-8750H Quad Core, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, W10H

I am having issues after only 5 min of gaming, my CPU goes to 90+ degrees.

When I play games the CPU goes very up. After only 5 min of playing CSGO with high settings, the CPU goes up to 90+ degrees. When just in windows it runs around 50C+

I know nothing about laptops. Any suggestions? Is it normal for this laptop class to run CPU so hot?

If it is brand new and doing this, return it and have them give you a device without issues. No new device should do that.
