Solved! Hardwire Moto E6

I wish to hardwire my Moto E6 phone. I bought and Ethernet adapter. Using it for zoom I saw that phones data was used . The modem showed that I had a connection. The ph did not recognize the ethernet connection. Also tried tethering it. What else can I do?

In theory, it should work, but not all adapters will work with all phones.
