Have just purchased a One for All indoor aerial for my Daughter's tv, but it is saying No Signal. Can anyone help??

Tv not picking up signsl, have just purchased an indoor aerial, but no luck, any idea's anyone??
I have correctly installed it, so we are stuck!

Did you check if you are in range of a signal?

You probably have another TV in the house, what happens if you switch aerials / TVs?
- connect your new aerial to existing TV, can you get the same channels?
- move your daugther' TV next to the old TV, and connect it's aerial, can you pick any channels?

You have set the TV for over the air and run the channel scan? Without doing this the TV won't tune to any channels.
