Having Issues With Surround Sound.

I'm Having Issues with my surround sound... I have my Shaw box hooked up to my Surround sound box/dvd player and then its hooked up to my tv, all with HDMI cords, but after 5 minutes the picture keeps flickering in & out and only a few speakers work, but if its on DVD all speakers work, anyone have any suggestions? Maybe my TV's to old?

Since everything works fine with the DVD try connecting the Shaw box with a different HDMI cable. You can also try connecting the Shaw box directly to the TV with the same cable you use to connect the surround/DVD. Try a different HDMI input on the TV if you have more than one.
