HDD not detected in my laptop only

Hi. Am using Acer Aspire 4736Z. The hard disk seems to not detected at my laptop only. I just changed the hdd casing to USB 3.0 and 2.5, bcs the earlier one has stopped working recently. Is it bcs of the power? Or my laptop is just too old ? 🙁 Kindly advise. Tq

How is it not detected? Are you trying to boot from it? Or just see it in the BIOS?

If booting from it, have you installed an OS? Or if cloned, did you also clone the boot partition?
