HDD to SSHD

I'm about to buy a new laptop which comes with HDD..I would like to purchase SSHD and replace the HDD...So is it necessary to do cloning or installing OS should do just fine?

SSHD is same as normal HDD with exception of having SSD cache, but it isn't user manageable. So it wont matter if you clone drive or make fresh install.
