Solution A A americanaudiophile Jun 9, 2014 The cable you bought cannot work. HDMI is digital video/audio. If your TV is an old analog set then it may have component video inputs. You can use an adapter like this: http/www.monoprice.com/products/product_print.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011410&p_id=8125 If the TV has composite video inputs then you need one of these: http/www.amazon.com/Mini-Composite-Converter-Blue-ray-White/dp/B009CL8NH0 This takes care of getting the the Bluray to the TV. If you want to use the HTiB with other sources then you will need to get them to feed audio into it. Various way to do this depending on the sources and the HTiB.
