Hdmi no audio from pc ports please help.

I recently replaced my r7250 gpu with a gtx 750ti sc a total swap from VGA to Hdmi.
I have my headset set as both default/communication device and I'll never hear anything even though it recognizes it in my system. I can use the back port on my monitor and get sound but when doing so I can't use my mic and it drives me insane.
I've done the go-to and googled around that's what they all told me to do was set those as default and nodda, also the hdmi (port 1) is completely greyed out I can't do anything with it. I've deleted and reinstalled drivers, rolled back drivers and they did nothing as well.
Any possible answer would be amazing, please help.

gtx 750ti is designed to produce superb video and not audio so you need to make use of the audio ports available on your system or you need to go with a separate adapter.
