HDMI Port Just Stopped Working

I turned my TV on and I got a No Signal message. I tried another cable, same thing. I tried another port, TV worked. Basically I've now found that HDMI ports 1 & 4 do not work and ports 2 & 3 do work. How would this just happen out of the blue?

Just about every issue seems to happen "out of the blue". Electronics fail, heat is often the cause, devices flex, the tiny electron pathways are delicate, capacitors and other parts get worn out.
