HDMI Samsung TV Black Screen

So I used the HDMI on to connect my TV and my Samsung laptop and everything went perfectly. Now I connecten my Samsung laptop to a Samsung Smart TV and it won't show a thing only the laptop screen works only. The TV says it isn't reading anything and check the source.

are you sure your extending or duplicating the screen, try the Windows button + P key combination set it to either extend or duplicate and it should work, or your cord randomly crapped out on you 😀 its been known to happen.
