Head phones and speakers fast switch

Hey i just got a new headset with a usb connection insted of regular 3,5 jacks so now i can i have both my 7,1 system and the headphones connected at the same time. I wonder are there any faster and easier way to change between headset and speakers then to go in and change whats the default one should be each time?
