Headphone with headphone jack doesnt work but one with usb does

I have a headset that uses a USB to plug in and that one works fine but any headset with like a headphone jack thing like an aux cord doesn't work at all please help me.

The USB headphones bypass your motherboard or soundcard audio.
Try the other headphones on your phone.
If they work then the problem is the computer.
If they don't work then the problem is the headphones.

Where you plug them - on desktop, try on the back. Make sure you have necessary drivers installed, and volume control properly set up.
