Headphones arent loud, do I need a sound card?

I bought the CM Storm Sirus 5.1 headphones, and they are not loud at all. Should I just buy new headphones,or get a soundcard?

I'm sorry, I meant the sirus s 5.1, and there aren't any drivers for it or anything. and when it is plugged in via usb it has a horrible static sound that drowns out any other audio. Sometimes if I hit the little shitty controller it will be quiet but, rarely. It has enough power, and there is nothing interfering with it.

then you could try rma for the defective control they must have a warranty on this .
