Headphones Audio Is Distorted

So I just bought a new MP4 that comes with headphones included. I wanted to test them on my PC and they worked well, now when I put them in the MP4 the sound quality isn't the same and some sounds are muffled and I can feel it even if it is very small. Is there any way to repair/fix it or do i need to use my warranty?

If you are in the warranty period do not try fixing it yourself, your warranty will be void.
Use your warranty.
