Headphones for a $100-150 budget? Thinking of Bose.

Right now I'm trying to find a good pair of headphones for every day and outdoor use, mostly when I'm out and about or when I'm in the middle of exercising. I found a pair of Bose Truesound headphones that are currently $149 due to Black Friday. Had a listen to them on a display stand, and they sound great.

However, I'm trying to get the best out of my money here, and I'm just interested in having a good pair of headphones with good quality sound, but are also lightweight. I wouldn't want an aching neck or head while I'm walking around, either. They need to be around/over the ear, as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I mostly listen to Techno, Trance, remixes, and usually modern music. Sometimes with some oldies like 3 Doors Down or Nickelback.

I had a pair of Audio Technica ATH m50s which were great. Solid build quality and the audio quality was great. They have a v shaped sound signature and have good bass response which should make it a nice fit for the genre of music you listen to.

$125 on amazon right now- http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50S-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B004ZG9TMA%3FSubscriptionId%3DAKIAJ7VMODKUTIUWFY2Q%26tag%3Dheadfiorg-pro-mct-lo-t-d-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB004ZG9TMA

They look kind of bulky though, and rather heavy. I'm pretty sure those kind of headphones would fall off I were to, say, take a jog around my neighborhood while listening to my iPod.

They're comfortable to wear but they aren't meant for portable use. They would bounce up and down and get sweaty fast if you tried jogging with them.

edit: Sorry missed the outdoor use part in your description.

Which is why I'm looking for headphones that are portable to use. Trust me, I've got a Wireless Headset or a speaker system that accomplishes what I need at home, but I do go out a lot, and I also work outdoors a lot as well. Thus why I thought the Bose headphones seemed like a good option. They're lightweight, they're comfortable, and decent sound quality as well.

But this is why I'm looking for alternative options. Best bang for the money and what not.
