Headphones only play right ear?

This is only on my computer, I've tried several headphones on several devices and they all worked. All the sliders are fine in control panel, what do i do?

Also, when i unplug the headphones, the speakers work fine with both channels, I've had this computer for years and this problem started today

It is a Gateway NV56R06u laptop computer

Might be a connection on the motherboard! You would have to strip it down to where you can see the solder connections where the headphone jack is and re-solder them!
