Headphones which are swappable between open-back and closed-back

I've recently come across a few headphones that are swappable between open-back and closed-back. For instance, HiFiMan's Edition S and Monoprice's Monolith M560. I was wondering how many of these are out there. Are there any that are on par with regular audiophile grade headphones?

I've had experience with the m560'x before myself, and I must say that they par up pretty well with fx. Sennheiser's HD650's.
However... The thing with these kind of headphones is that they sound like 2x better when they're open. It's not like if you have open-backs and put you hands against the sides, but the sound surely degrades when you plob on those covers.
If you're thinking about buying either one of those, I'd gladly recommend the m560's. If you didn't already know, the m560's are planars, and will probably give you an amazing low end experience.
