Solved! Headset detected but plays no sound

Hello guys,

I will try to give as many details as possible. I have a gaming laptop, Avell G1511 v2 Pro, the issue I'm having is that when I plug a headset into the side jack, it plays no sound.

All the tests through troubleshoot test as if it is working, and yes i've done the default device check.
My laptop currently uses "Realtek HD audio"(I'm suspicious this may have something to do with it)

Anyways, the strangest of all is that randomly on different days, i'll plug a headset and it will work perfectly, then the next day it won't work. Yesterday night for example it was working perfectly, I put my machine to sleep and now this morning it plays no sound.

Any ideas what this could be?

It could be a loose connection to the jack (internally). If it is under warranty I would contact the manufacturer. If not, then you can open it up and check it yourself or take it to a local tech.
