Headset jack is broken and i can't use laptop's speakers

Hi , i accidently broke my headset's jack , i am planning to use an usb soundcard but for now is there a way to use laptop's speakers ? It looks like laptop still considers it like headset is plugged in.

Depending on the laptop model, you might be able to pick up a used sound card off Ebay and replace it. They aren't very expensive or difficult to replace.

I am using Asus K55VM , i tried to disassemble it and it was almost impossible.I wasn't able to turn some of the screws and i was kinda scared to damage the hardware.Is there a way to use laptop's speakers with usb sound cards ?

Here is a screenshot of the Sound Control Panel. You'll need to select your speakers and then set them to default.

Only external speakers as far as I know.
