I currently have a Acer Nitro 5 running on Windows 10 & a Turtle Beach headset with a detachable mic.
I've never had issues with using it on my laptop prior to this week. The laptop only has one headphone jack and would always register a external mic coming off any headset or headphones. (As it would work with my regular iphone headphones as well).
But, this following week, the laptop has stopped registering any external mic. When I go into the settings on my laptop, the only things that pop up on it is the default laptop mic (Microphone Array) and Stereo Mix.
It does the same for my regular headphones as well, and this has never been a issue before today. The headset works with both my PS4 and mobile phone, so I know it's not a issue with the headset itself. The laptop itself is only around 4 months old.
If anyone has any idea as to what the issue might be, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advanced!
