Headset or Heaphones + Microphone (Under $250)

Suggestions for a gaming headset, or a pair of headphones + microphone. Headset would preferably be under $200, $250 maximum. I'm willing to spend more for a microphone and headphones that I can use on different occasions and different purposes.

It is truly a masterpiece. As for the microphone, you can buy a decent condenser mic for around 50 dollars.

I'm not here to suggest specific products but I think headphones would work well. If you do go with them use the Razar surround software. It's a software you download and it turns stereo sound into virtual 7.1 sound. Now it might sound like a gimmick but it works, and well. Localization is very good and believable so you get the benefit of multi-purpose headphones and believable 7.1 sound that's better than some cheaper virtual 7.1 headsets. Two birds with one stone.
