Headset or Mic+Headphones for $150

Not sure if I should pick up a 150 dollar headset or a blue snowball + a pair of headphones. This will be for gaming and skype. Also not sure what headset to get or headphones.

If you are not going to record gameplay and make videos or things like that you don't need a separate microphone. But on the other hand headphones usually have better quality. An AMAZING value headset is the steelseries 5HV3, they are $50-60. Higher end ones look at sennheiser or hyperx cloud (for headsets)

For just a separate pair of headphones look at ATH M50's and a separate mic like ATH's or the blue microphones
