Hello I always understood 3dtv's to require 120hz, but I have seen tv's advertized as 3d with only 100hz, does that mean my 10

The Hz is different depending on regions. In USA TVs are in multiples of 60Hz because of the power. In the UK and Australia and other places they're in multiples of 50Hz. Also you typed your question as the post title and it cut off so I can't see the rest of it.

Yeah sorry about mucking that up I was on a tablet, not the illegal kind, the electronic ones!.
My question was can I use my TV for 3D gaming as I keep seeing 100hz listed on the specs of 3d capable TV's. Thanks.

I'm not sure tbh. I think that the problem would come from getting the left and right eye in sync with TV but I'm not too sure. I'm sure google will have the answer. Also when I looked I saw a lot of people saying that 100Hz is not possible for 3D which is complete bullshit. Most 3D TVs now are only 100Hz. Hz are very misleading, most 3D panels are 100Hz, some are 200Hz max but some people claim higher frame rates by adding a backlight that flickers twice per panel refresh. It doesn't work like that way, thats why Samsung use CMR (clear motion rate) which is why they get 800 CMR and not 800Hz. Hope that helps a little. :)
