Hello !!!
I have a laptop Lenovo S210 Touch, running Windows 7 Ultimate and a BENQ projector . The laptop has an HDMI port, but the projector has only a VGA. I bought a cable, but I'm still not able to connect them. I'm sure that everything is working, both ports and the projector.

Did you just buy a cable or an adapter? For HDMI to VGA you need an active adapter like this http/www.amazon.com/SANOXY%C2%AE-Generic-Audio-Converter-Adapter/dp/B006JW6M2I

There are also some adapters without external power, but your laptop may not have enough power going from the HDMI port to use those. I suggest an adapter with external power to be safe.
