Solved! HELP? broken trackpad on laptop

The trackpad on my acer laptop stopped working and now i must use a mouse to use it... its not a big deal but its inconvient. DOes anyone have any idea why it doesnt work, or know how to fix it?

If you can remove the keyboard you may find the trackpad cable has become dislodged. If the cable is damaged -- and can be disconnected both ends -- you may be able to obtain a replacement from Acer.

how would i remove the keyboard? and if its dislodged what do i do?
