Help buying laptop

1. What is your budget? £450

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? ?

3. What screen resolution do you want? No preference

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? portable

5. How much battery life do you need? Not a huge amount, i have no plans for extensive use away from a power source.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Yes, primarily starcraft 2 and counterstrike global offensive on medium-high settings.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Web browsing, writing.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? Probably around 100-200gb at most. I have a 1tb external hardrive i use to keep movies etc.. on.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? 3 years minimum

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? Non essential, possibly a basic DVD drive.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. No preference.

13. What country do you live in? England

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. Need a new laptop for use at uni

It is but companies rarely follow such exchange rates. I.e. that lenovo is around £800-900 if you buy it here.

Absolutely. What about that 2nd machine I suggested ? It is close to your budget if you can stretch a little bit.
