Help DVD /konka tv

Have a konka tv and a evolution DVD picture goes but no sound. Got there red and yellow plugged into the DVD don't know where the white goes and plugged the yellow white and red to tv .

Yellow connection is for picture.
Red and white are for sound.
Check if they are correctly plugged in at both ends.
