Solved! Help i dropped my phone and now nothing works

The phone was completely fine before the drop it only had a cracked screen, the drop was just of the side of a bed down to the floor where it landed on a carpet which it has done multiple times before this and worked just fine but this time it just shut off and now i can't get it to start again so someone who might have a solution or just a clue about what happened please message me i really need that phone. (by the way it's a sony xperia x10)

Does it connect to a PC/laptop using an USB connection?

remove the battery for a minute and try powering it on again after that

eventually replace the LCD screen
