Hi everyone,

Unfortunately my laptop has officially s**t itself, and it's time for a replacement. Doesn't need to be big on gaming because I very recently built my gtx 970/4790k beast of a desktop, but something with an i5 or better, 8gb ram and decent integrated or small dedicated gpu is ideal. Mainly for school work and a little bit of mobile gaming. Bit of a budget; around $750 AUD, but willing to go up if absolutely necessary. I don't mind Lenovo, Toshiba and Acer, but don't have enough experience with laptop manufacturers to make a huge difference. Will consider suggestions for tablet/hybrids.
Oh and I like backlit keyboards :D

Thanks in advance

The biggest difference between the first and the last options are the first 1 has 8 GB RAM the 2nd one has 4 GB. If you can find RAM cheap enough you can upgrade yourself, otherwise theres one with more RAM in there.

The Toshiba choice does have less RAM than you wanted but gives the option for Windows 7 in case you hate Win8 like the Nazi's hated you-know-what.

The HP is ok, one thing thats nice about it is that it has 1 GB extra VRAM compared to the ASUS model
