Help me buy a new laptop please!

Hello, first post in this forum and I need some advice on buying a new laptop.

1. What is your budget?
My budget is 500 euros

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

15 inch I guess as I do not think I have enough money for a 17

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Preferably 1080p but as above I don't think I can afford it

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Desktop replacement

5. How much battery life do you need?

No preference

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Yes I do, moderate gaming, I am okay with low settings on modern games if possible.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

Normal stuff and music production

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

500gb is fine by me but I also have an 120gb ssd so I would like a laptop with second hdd slot.

I am really tempted by the last one because of the 940m gpu (which as I know can even run witcher 3 on lowest settings, correct me if I am wrong), but I don't really like the i3.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

As long as possible.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

I do not mind if there isn't any optical drive.

As far as the laptops that you linked to, the last one is probably the best. As you said, it has the GeForce 940m graphics. It should be able to play most games on low to medium settings. The memory on those laptops is only 4GB, but that can be upgraded in the future.

The worst part, though, is the fact that your budget makes it so that none of the laptops have 1920 x 1080 screens. You may want to save up until you can afford a laptop for around 750 Euros. That way you could get one that has an i5 processor and a high resolution screen.
