Hi,
I sold a fully functional laptop screen to someone and now they claim it does not work with their laptop and sent this:

Anybody know what causes this?
Thanks

Well, unless he brought it home after buying it and dropped his coffee on it.:D But, yeah, obviously something happened after the exchange. When you sold it, did you both verify together that it was working before money changed hands? If so, I'd say you did your part.

(And...what happened to the forums? Totally new format since my last post...)

Well it's through eBay and I shipped it to him. I took a video beforehand showing it was working though!

If he didn't spill anything on it is possible this damage could be caused by some bumping when it was being delivered to him?
The pattern doesn't look like it so I can't think of what else to do.

The eBay part is a pretty important detail. Yeah, from there, I don't know what you should do. They could be scamming you, or legitimately thinking you're scamming them. I'd probably say that you had a video of it working, and it's out of your hands now. They'll either file a complaint, or they won't.
