my laptop has a giant line going down the center and what looks like a giant black finger print at the bottom what should I do

Without any additional info, I would have to guess that your LCD is borked. If that is the case you have to replace the panel.

Did it get dropped?

replace the LCD most are cheap under $100 if you do it your self.
