Help me pls

I'm choosing between the acer aspire s3 and s5. Here are the link for those two

Basically, from what i can see, the only difference between those two are the s3 has hdd, while the s5 has ssd. I actually prefer to have a 500gb storage ( which the s3 offer), but i'm not really sure if the s5 is still superior than the s3 in other aspect. So which one should i go for ? S5 have a Thunderbolt expansion port while S3 don't. The S3 have a 20gb SSD cache + 500GB HDD while S5 have a 256GB SSD. They are basically the same laptop except for Disk Drive and Thunderbolt.

I know. But in terms of design, does the s5 still provide better performance ?

In terms of what gives it's power in for CPU/GPU they are identical they both use the same thing. So I just save some money and buy the S3.

Or buy the S3 and upgrade to the i7 if you want a little bit more power, or put it into a faster HD for the price difference between the S5 and S3.
