Help needed soonest

How do I connect a Philips DVD player to a Toshiba TV properly as I have no colour on the TV when playing DVD?
The connection into the DVD player is by Red Yellow and White connectors and the mains plug on the other end.

As long as the yellow cable is plugged you get proper color reproduction. If you can add pictures I should be able to help.

Thank you for your reply but the 3 A/V cables are plugged into the rear of the DVD and on the other end it is a scart connection into the rear of the TV. I have pictures and sound but no colour.

Typically, DVD player use double sided rca cables. I am not sure what cable you are referring to but I will provide a link below for the cable you should have.
