Question Help New Foxtel IQ5 box

I have the new Foxtel IQ5 box. On the old foxtel box I had the AV cable connected and going to my DVD recorder and a HDMI to TV. However with the new IQ5 it only has 1 HDMI cable and no AV. Should I use a HDMI splitter from Foxtel box to DVD Recorder and TV?

Yes an HDMI splitter should work.
