Sharing stopped working after several months--no apparent reason. All other
connectivity OK. Ethernet-->Assigned IP on SMC router /port 29001 forwarded.
connects to server daily OK. tried link below to test -->error message. Even
tried RTV in DMZ on router, same error message. If I try to send show, it
appears to send OK, but recpient never gets. Incoming shows appear in
Received box, but remain stuck at 0% downloaded and always a "experienceing
network errors, check internet connection"

Any ideas?

Since you didn't mention it, is the RTV also set to port 29001?

I just tried to send you something but could not contact your machine.
Go to Menu:SystemInfo:Video Sharing and see if the port is set correctly
to match your router. Also check the Ethernet tab to see if the IP
address matches what you've set up in your router. If you need to change
the port you can do so under "Internet Identity" and then you should be
set. Remember the IP address can change if you have DHCP enabled. What
brand of router are you using and do you have DSL or Cable Modem
service? If DSL do you have a Westell DSL modem? If so, make sure it is
set up as a bridge rather than a router.
I'll be happy to send another test file when you're ready.

All settings OK. IP address is assigned to MAC of RTV in router, always
matches when I check. Could it be a snafu in the rpelay TV server, eg,
"lost" my ID?

Changed port on router and RTV to 29000 if nothing else to force the
box-->server update and see if it mattered.

Dont get why worked fine and then stopped. RTV software update problem?
