I need some advice on what speakers I should get for my PC. I mainly want them for gaming and movies. I'm looking for clear, crisp sound and nothing too boomy. I currently have the creative T3. Budget around £200 can be stretched to £250
Do you have a Bose outlet near you? I picked up a couple of weeks ago a set of Companion 5's which are supposed to be £300 for £147, the Companion 3's were about £10 more. These are simply the best computer speakers I have ever come across, the clarity throughout the range is very good and you can setup for a flat response easily
it costs around £280-£340 in the uk, thats way out of my budget. They do look good and i have heard good stuff about their products too. but its too expensive🙁

Nice headphones will give you a better result for both of those applications. If you need good speakers because multiple people will be watching the movie, Harman Kardon soundsticks are pretty good. Most users will be fine with a 50 GBP set of speakers with subwoofer, for quality sound use headphones and put up with slightly less impressive sound when you have company over.

I agree i use headset for gaming most of the time, I prefer speakers for movies though and it really irritates me when a good movie gets ruined by poor sound quality. I've looked at the Logitech z906 and im wondering if that will produce nice sound. I'm open to suggestions people
