I use Firefox and don't have IE so I'm not sure how you remove extensions without third party software.
Download HijackThis from https/esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/home/pages/technical-support/1037994.aspx and right click the exe file then select RunAs Administrator. In the start up menu select Scan Only and when it's completed, look for the BHO (browser helper object) entries in the list and tick to remove any or all of them. End the programme and restart the computer. Hopefully, that worked.
