Help with Android graphics issue.

When I press the lock button on my Nexus 5X the screen goes greyscale and then turns off. Help?

Does the actual phone turn off or just the screen? The screen turning off is normal, as long as it comes up again. My LG G3 does the same thing, hit lock button, screen turns off and locks the phone. Hit lock button again, screen turns on.

Sorry I wasn't that clear. The screen goes greyscale for a second then the screen goes off, not the actual phone. It then wakes up as usual.

Sounds like it's acting normally, did you check any other phones to see what happens when you lock them?
