Help with "noise" in my 8mm cassettes, please!!

Hi! I'm transferring my 8mm videos to my computer. My problem is that the image has "noise", both in the picture and in the audio, and also has "blank spaces", I mean, the picture blinks to a blue screen, not all the time, but some cassetes are worse than others. Is there something I can do to fix this? I'm talking about 100 cassetes!!! so I want to get the best I can!!! By the way, I'm not very "technological"... but I find my way! Thanks a lot for your help!!

I wish I could upload a little video to show you my problem, but basically it's like a "line of static" in the lower part of the screen, and the loud noise of "static", and the going back and forth to the picture-blue screen-pitcure.

Are you sure this problem is solvable and the casettes are not just aged/corrupted?

Were the tapes used more than once? Are the heads on the camcorder in good shape? The tapes will degrade over time.

Send one of these tapes to a professional service, and ask them to do their best. If they can do it (that is, if it is doable), you can do it as well.
