Hello, I recently was given s Dell inspiron 9300. was willed to me by friend, but admin password (bios) he took to the grave with him, how can i reset or remove said password

if it was a desktop i would say moving the jumper on the board to reset the bios would be a solution. Here is a link to the owners manual.

You could try removing the BIOS battery (find a repair manual online to see where it's at) and see if that does it. Probably won't though
